    Bikes serviced at your location pending complexity of service needed. We can pick up bikes for service and deliver back to your location. Mobile and delivery fees vary depending on your location and seasonal traffic.

Didn't see exactly what you need in the packages above? Not sure what you need? Not a problem! Bring your bike into the shop and our mechanics will work with you to get you back on two wheels.

PACK AND SHIP SERVICES

If you are visiting the island and prefer to ship your bike rather than rent, give us a call. We'll work with you to coordinate the receiving and professional re-assembly of your bike in time for your arrival. When you're ready to head home, we'll repack your bike, print a shipping label, and hand it to our local UPS team to send it home.

Policies

E-Bike Policy

E-Bike Service Policy

  • For insurance and safety reasons, we are only equipped to work on electric bikes equipped with motors from ShimanoSRAMBoschBafangYamaha, or Fazua. Regrettably, we do not possess the necessary equipment or certification to service E-Bikes equipped with other systems or bikes from brands we do not carry or are not familiar with and will not be able work on systems we are not familiar with. We apologize for any inconvenience this may cause.
  • If you're not sure what kind of motor is on your E-Bike, please get in touch by calling (508)-627-9008 or emailing shopmanager@edgartownbicycles.com with some photos of the bike before you come over.
  • Our standard E-Bike servicing fee is set at $120 per hour. This fee ensures that our highly skilled technicians can provide you with top-quality service and attention to detail. For the safety and convenience of all our customers and staff, Edgartown Bicycles reserves the right to refuse service per our discretion.
  • When bringing your E-Bike in for service, we kindly ask that you provide us with the key, battery, and charger. This helps ensure that our technicians can thoroughly assess and address any issues your E-Bike may have. Additionally, if possible, we recommend charging your bike before dropping it off for service. This allows our team to efficiently diagnose and perform any necessary repairs or maintenance tasks.


Surron and other e-motocross bikes

Due to the controversy of where these e-vehicles are being ridden on the island (bike paths/hiking and mountain bike trails), we are unable to service them at this time. We hope to be a part of conversation of where these bikes can be used on the island as everyone deserves a place to have their healthy fun!

Cancellation and Storage Policies

Service Cancellation Policy

At Edgartown Bikes, we value your time and strive to provide the best service possible. To ensure fairness and efficiency for all our customers, we have the following cancellation policy for service appointments:

  1. Cancellation Notice: If you need to cancel or reschedule your service appointment, please provide at least 24 hours notice prior to your scheduled time. You can cancel from your appointment confirmation email.
  2. Late Cancellations: Cancellations made less than 24 hours in advance may be subject to a cancellation fee of $40.
  3. No-Shows: Failure to attend your scheduled appointment slot without prior notice will be considered a no-show, and a no-show fee of $40 may apply.
  4. Rescheduling: We are happy to assist you in rescheduling your appointment. Please contact us as soon as possible to find a new time that works for you. You can also cancel and then schedule a new appointment from our site.
  5. Emergency Situations: We understand that emergencies happen. Please reach out to us if unforeseen circumstances prevent you from keeping your appointment.

Bike Fit Cancellation Policy

Due to the specialized nature of bike fitting services, the following additional policies apply:

  1. Extended Cancellation Notice: For bike fit appointments, we require at least 48 hours notice for cancellations or rescheduling.

Bike Storage Policy

Please pick up bikes from services in a timely manner. We charge a $20 a day storage fee for bikes left more than three days after completion of work. Per MA law, after 3 months left at the shop, bikes become the property of Edgartown Bicycles and we maintain the right to sell them.
