Frank Jennings – Store Owner, Cat 2 road racer, entrepreneur Frank has been operating in the cycling industry for over 30 years, having
owned shops in Florida, Oregon, and here on the island. He contributes
a vast array of knowledge from various aspects of the business. The Edgartown
Bicycles building receives accolades each year for its beauty, uniquity,
and elegant design. Frank was the brains behind it all. Though you are
more likely to see Frank out on his bike than in the shop, he is requested
by many customers and meets with dozens who demand his expertise. His
racing experience, which in 2004 included eight age-group wins and numerous
top ten finishes in pro level races, aids in his professional bicycle
fitting ability. He emphasizes comfort and biomechanics in each of the
customers he fits. |

Greg Politz – General Manager Greg brought his lifetime of expierence to the shop in 2010. He logged over 10 years climbing the ranks at his family's bike shop outside of Philadelphia (www.bikesportbikes.com), where his mother still runs the shop after 20 years and Greg can be found helping out there in the winter. In 2007 Greg left the family business to join Advanced Sports Inc., the parent company of Fuji, Kestrel, Breezer and SE bicycle brands, where he worked in the sales department and ran the factory mountain bike race team. After 2 years behind a desk Greg wanted to get back to retail and couldn't pass up the opportunity to work on Martha's Vineyard. Greg is also a recognized Specialized Body Geometry Fit Technician. Look for him on his new Specialized Venge road bike or in his Jeep Wrangler, outrageously equipped to carry 10 bicycles. |

Adam Blocklinger – Rental Manager Adam joined Edgartown Bicycles in 2011. Having never officially worked in a bike shop, Adam is still learning the history and racing aspects of our sport. But his background as an assembly engineer at Siemens International bring a high level of quality and organization to our rental that ensures you won't be greeted with the snobby attitude often expected at bike shops. His work and education as an auto mechanic is also crucial to keeping the delivery vehicles on the road, particularly the '63 Chevy. |
